[origin: EP1248276A1] An operating device (OD) (1) has a distributor element (3) guided on a switchboard section structure and made to slide by an operating element transverse to the operating motion (6) of breaks. The OD also has a transmission element (7) guided on the distributor element and moved parallel to the operating motion. The distributor element and/or the transmission element are guided in such a way that sliding motion in the distributor element crosswise to the operating motion of the breaks leads to motion in the transmission element parallel to the operating motion of the breaks and also activates the breaks. An Independent claim is also included for an electrical switchboard section structure for inserting in a switchboard plant.
