Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1248494A2] A cup (1, 1') for loudspeakers (2, 2') from neodymium, with possible upper planar plates (6) having such a shape as to obtain: greater ventilation air volumes (5, 5'), greater thermal dissipation and greater distance (D, D') between the diametric surfaces (3, 3') of magnets (2, 2') and the internal surfaces (4, 4') of said cups. The cup has a convex shape and the ratio between the medium diameter (A) related to the internal wall at the flexion point and the external diameter (B) ranges between 1.4 and 1.8.

[origin: EP1248494A2] A cup (1) has a convex configuration and the distance between the diametric surface (3) of a neodymium magnet (2) and the internal surface (4) of the cup allows forming of a toroidal chamber (5) with a large air volume to achieve good cooling ventilation of the mobile bobbin and to prevent compression phenomena acting on the loudspeaker.
