[origin: GB2355233A] A seal for closing a bag or container 1 with a zippered opening 3 having a puller tab 5 which cooperates with a lock unit 4 at one end of the opening, includes a disposable locking member 6 having two protrusions 10,11 which engage respective apertures 7,8 in both the lock unit 5 and the tab 6. The locking member 6 has a line of weakness 13 running between the protrusions such that one protrusion 10 can be disengaged from the lock unit 5 by lifting ear 28 prior to disengagement of the other protrusion 11. Protrusion 11 is in the form of a barbed arrow head and removal is achieved by sliding the locking member 6 so that the wider portion 16 of the aperture 8 enables the barbs to be withdrawn. In an alternative embodiment the tab 5 has only a single aperture 9 and does not extend across the second aperture 8 in the lock unit 4.
