Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0147531A1] The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a pectin which is effective in inhibiting a male's reproductive toxicity. The pharmaceutical composition is orally administered in an effective amount of 1 mu g to 1000 mg per 1kg of the recipient's weight. It can be used as a prophylactic/therapeutic agent for inhibiting the reduction of the number and motility of sperms, prostate reduction and male's infertility caused by environmental hormones including dioxin.
