[origin: WO0145823A1] The invention relates to a filter element (31) of a fluid filter, especially with a parallelepipedal or hollow-cylindrical outer shape. Said filter element is provided with a flux inlet side (A) and a flux outlet side (B) with respect to the fluid to be filtered. The filter element (31) is provided with a number of folding partitions (33) from a fluid-permeable filter material which are arranged in a continuous fold between folding edges (35A; 35B). The filter material is provided with embossed elevations (37) that represent impressions on the other side of the filter material. Between adjacent folding partitions (33), on the respective flux inlet side (A) thereof, the folding partitions (33) are provided with units which are disposed on the elevations (37). Said units, which consist of a cured adhesive, adhere to the folding partitions (33) and interlink and mutually support them. Respective support elements are provided on the flux outlet side (B) and/or on the flux inlet side (A) whose projection on the plane of the adjacent folding partition (33) at least partially lies within the impressions.
