[origin: WO0153762A2] The invention concerns a refrigerating apparatus comprising a cabinet with an opening towards the refrigerated part of said cabinet, the opening being covered with at least a panel framed with at least a framing element including at least a profiled section having first and second parts forming more or less an L-shape, the first part covering the panel edge and the second part covering the panel edge and comprising a recess provided with at least a butt-end. The resulting refrigerating apparatus exhibits a very simple structure, in particular the panel, and offers the constructor great structural flexibility when deciding on the final shape of the panel.
