[origin: WO0150573A1] The invention concerns a system for controlling at least an electrical apparatus (L1, L, VR, VR1, VR2) using a switch controlling at least another electrical apparatus in an existing electrical installation, in particular a bulb lighting the room wherein it is fixed. The invention is characterised in that it comprises at least a logic analyser designed to analyse directly or indirectly the levels of an electrical characteristic (SHE/SEB) generated by said switch and, when the switch is triggered a predetermined number of times at short intervals, to activate at least in corresponding advanced mode whereby the switch controls said at least one electrical apparatus (L1, L, VR, VR1, VR2).
