Abstract (en)

The fire and smoke barrier is in the form of a flexible bulkhead wall (3) made of textile, membrane and or slats and is fixed in or directly near the periphery (2) of the opening (1) being closed. In an initial position, the bulkhead wall is positioned inside the space (4) containing it and exposes the opening by being rolled up, gathered or folded and fixed by fastenings (14).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brand- und Rauchbarriere, insbesondere für Transportmittel, wie Schienenfahrzeuge, zum Schutz von Personen sowie zur Schadensminimierung im Ereignisfall, die im wesentlichen aus zumindest schwer entflammbaren Materialien besteht. Dabei ist sie als flexible Schottwand ausgebildet und in unmittelbarer Nähe des Umfangs oder im Umfang der zu verschließenden Öffnung befestigt, wobei die Schottwand in der Ausgangsstellung innerhalb eines Aufnahmeraumes sowie die Öffnung freigebend positioniert und im Ereignisfall in die Öffnung verbringbar ausgebildet und diese zumindest nahezu vollständig verschließend angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
