Abstract (en)
A pressure plate of the gripper consists of flexible upper and lower plates (104a,104b) which are joined integrally. The upper plate co-operates with a contact shoe (103) to grip a weft yarn (T). The lower plate supports the weft yarn and transfers the pressure exerted by yarn to the upper plate.
