The artificial stone slab with top and bottom main surfaces consists of a granular material in the form of natural stone particles bonded to one another by means of a polyurethane adhesive. The slab is porous, and is provided along its edges with a frame (18) which forms a part of a mold used for its production.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Kunststein. Der Kunststein ist plattenförmig. Der Kunststein hat eine obere und eine untere Hauptfläche (20, 24) und seitliche Schmalflächen(22). Der Kunststein wird in einer Form hergestellt. Er ist zusammengesetzt aus einem Körper (16) aus körnigem Gut, das ausgebrochenen Natursteinen gewonnen ist, aus einem Polyurethankleber und aus einem mit diesem Körper (16) verbundenen Rahmen (18). Der Körper (16) hat durchgehende Poren. Der Rahmen (18) des Kunststeins bildet die seitlichen Schmalflächen (22) aus. Der Rahmen (18) des Kunststeins lässt eine Hauptfläche (20, 24) frei und bildet bei der Herstellung des Kunststeins einen Teil der Form. <IMAGE>
