[origin: EP1249573A2] The attachment (1) for a ladder, to hold it away from a wall, is fitted directly to a selected rung (4) of the ladder in a rapid mounting/dismantling action. It has two spacer stirrup arms, with peripheral laying points (8) from an outer to an inner angular zone of ≤ 90 degrees . The structure gives two possible laying points against the wall surface (9) for the required ladder position. The attachment can have two arms, each with mounting clamps for the ladder rung, or it is in a double-yoke (6) structure with a rung clamp (5). The laying points are covered with a high-adhesion rubber cladding, to prevent slipping at the wall surface.
