Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19941203A1] The invention relates to a device for removing an accumulation of powder from a container (38) and transferring said powder to a distributing device - especially a powder gun - in a powder hose or similar conveying line. According to the invention, at least one rod injector (22) which can be inserted into the container (38) is provided. Said rod injector has at least one powder inlet bore (50) at one end and is connected to the conveying line at the other end. At least one level detector (30) is allocated to the rod injector (22), as is a powder roller (16) which is located in a surrounding roller housing with a discharge unit that opens out towards the level detector. The powder roller (16) can be provided with plates projecting out from the same and oriented towards the wall of the roller housing (14). Said plates are preferably made from a material with limited elasticity and have a cross-section length that is greater than the inner diameter (d) of the roller housing (14). The plates rest resiliently against the roller housing at one end.
