Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1250869A2] The clamp (1) has two clamp jaws (3,4) applicable to the side edge of the glass plate, which on their inside have elastomer material cushions locating on the plate. The cushions may be tensioned against one another using at least one clamp screw with the plate inserted into it. A cavity is available on at least one of the clamp jaws, for accommodation of a sensor fixed to the glass plate. The cavity encloses the sensor with the widest possible clearance, permitting optimally free vibration of the sensor for signal emission.
