Abstract (en)
Separating agent contains colloid particles having a particle diameter of 1-1000 nm dissolved in a dispersion system and applied to the casting surface. The particles are present on the casting surface after vaporizing the solvent. Preferred Features: The colloid particles are made from pure metal oxides or mixed oxides, especially made from SiO2 and/or Al2O3. The separating agent contains an additive for adjusting the pH.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Trennmittel zur Verwendung in einem Formgiessverfahren zur Herstellung von Metallgussteilen, insbesondere Metallgussteilen aus Leichtmetall, wobei sich das Trennmittel dadurch auszeichnet, dass dieses in einem dispersen System in Form kugelförmiger Kolloid-Teilchen mit Teilchendurchmessern im Bereich von 1 - 1000 nm vorliegt, wobei nach Auftrag des Trennmittels auf die Giessform, das Lösungsmittel zum Verdampfen gebracht wird und Kolloid-Teilchen schichtbildend auf der Trennfläche zurückbleiben, auf welchen die Metallschmelze, ohne in dessen Zwischenräume zu einzudringen, aufliegt. <IMAGE>
