Abstract (en)

The method involves using a color application system that can provide a constant color quantity, and a binary illustration of a printing form. A base raster of grid points is produced for area-variable image information on the printing form to define the area coverage. A fine micro-raster is placed under the base raster so that the area coverage of the base raster is reduced by a variable percentage between 0% and 100%.

Um ein Verfahren zum Variieren der Farbdichte des Volltons beim Druck innerhalb einer Rotationsdruckmaschine zu schaffen, das trotz konstantem Farbangebot des Farbwerks eine Steuerung der Volltondichte, bzw. eine Anpassung der Rastertonwerte im Druck erlaubt, ist in Verbindung mit einem Farbantragssystems, das eine konstante Farbmenge anbieten kann, und einer binären Bebilderung einer Druckform, bei dem ein Grundraster von Rasterpunkten für die flächenvariablen Bildinformationen auf der Druckform, das die Flächendeckung bestimmt, erzeugt wird, vorgesehen, dem Grundraster ein feines Mikroraster zu unterlagern, in der Weise, dass die Flächendeckung des Grundrasters um einen zwischen 0% und 100% einstellbaren Prozentsatz reduziert wird. <IMAGE>
