Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1251096A2] The device has a blade folder (22) and a pair of folding rollers, and a transporter to move a signature to a front edge stop (2). The stop unit has a stop bearer (16) moving relative to the folding blade. It has at least one stop finger (17) with guide bars (19.1,19.2), which is moveable relative to the stop bearer. The stop bearer moves mainly parallel to the transport direction (30) of the signature, the stop finger moves mainly at right angles to the surface define by the transporter, and the guide bars are positioned parallel to that surface. The machine containing the blade folder also contains a buckle folder.
