Abstract (en)
The cork puller, consisting of a handle (2) with a pivoted corkscrew (6) and a notched lever (4) with teeth (9) to engage with the rim (13) of the bottle neck (11), has the tip of the lever extended beyond the teeth by an amount (L) between 0.4 and 0.6 of the distance (S) from the teeth to the lever's pivot (3). The faces (9a) of the teeth form an angle of 75 - 85 deg with the axis of the lever, the tip of which is designed to be held and pressed against the bottle neck with one hand while the other applies a force to the handle with withdraw the cork (10).

Selon l'invention, le levier d'appui (4,) comporte, au-delà de ses crans d'appui juxtaposés (9), un prolongement dorsal ayant une longueur comprise entre 0,4 et 0,6 fois la distance (S) entre l'axe d'articulation (3) du levier (4) et la face (9a) des crans qui vient sur le sommet du récipient, ce prolongement étant apte à être tenu et plaqué par son extrémité (4c) contre le col (11) du récipient par la main de l'opérateur, actionnant le manche (2) par son autre main, tandis que ladite face (9a) de chaque cran (9) forme, par rapport à l'âme (4a) du levier (4), un angle (b) ayant une valeur comprise entre 75° et 85°, afin que ce soit d'abord l'extrémité de chaque cran (9) qui vienne en appui sur le sommet du récipient. <IMAGE>
