To generate a reduced output pressure, the output pressure surface is larger than the sum of the input step surfaces. The stepped piston consists of a first and a second section, and an axial transverse load is transmitted from the first to the second section. The input step surfaces are located on the first piston section, the output pressure surface is located on the second piston section.
