Abstract (en)
The switch device has a contact point with a stationary and a moveable contact member. The device has an arc extinguishing chamber arrangement with parallel extinguishing or quenching plates and two arc conducting rails which guide arcs created on switching to the plates. The extinguishing arrangement is formed of two adjacent packets of plates (23,24). First and second additional guide rails (25,26) are provided. One leads to the first plate packet. The other leads to the second. The additional rails are connected together near the contact point so that on switching off, the arc is split into two partial arcs one of which is fed to the first packet and the other to the second.

Es wird ein Installationsschaltgerät mit einer ein festes und ein bewegliches Kontaktstück (20, 19) aufweisenden Kontaktstellen beschrieben, mit einer Lichtbogenlöschkammeranordnung mit parallel zueinander gestapelten Lichtbogenlöschblechen und zwei Lichtbogenleitschienen (21, 22), die den Lichtbogen bei einer Schalthandlung zu den Löschblechen führen. Die Löschkammeranordnung ist aus zwei nebeneinander liegenden Löschblechpaketen (23, 24) gebildet. Es ist eine erste und eine zweite Zusatzleitschiene (25, 26) vorgesehen, von denen eine zum ersten Löschblechpaket und die andere zum zweiten Löschblechpaket geführt ist. Im kontaktstellennahen Bereich sind Zusatzleitschienen (25, 26) miteinander verbunden, so daß bei einer Ausschaltung der Lichtbogen in zwei Teillichtbögen aufgeteilt wird, von denen einer dem ersten Lichtbogenlöschblechpaket und der andere dem zweiten Lichtbogenlöschblechpaket zugeführt wird. <IMAGE>
