[origin: WO0156718A1] The invention relates to a manufacturing device (1), in particular, a folding press (2) preferably provided for shaping sheet metal parts (3) for the manufacture of housing parts, profiles (4), etc. The inventive device comprises a machine frame (5) consisting of C-shaped stand lateral cheeks (6, 7) and of wall parts (13) which are connected in a non-displaceable manner to said stand lateral cheeks (6, 7) while separating the same by a distance (11). A pressing bar (15) that can be fitted with a bending tool (36) is mounted on the machine frame (5) in a non-displaceable manner. Another pressing bar (16), which can be fitted with another bending tool (37) and which can be displaced by a drive system (27), is mounted opposite said pressing bar (15) in a guide system (30) of the machine frame (5). An adjusting drive (25, 26) which is drive-connected to the displaceable pressing bar (16) is mounted on opposing lateral faces (22, 23) of each stand lateral cheek (6, 7).
