[origin: WO0153685A2] The invention relates to a valve, for the control of fluids, with an inlet line (7) and a oil overflow line (8), which are each connected to a pressure chamber (6). Furthermore, a piston element (3, 4) is provided, which may be adjusted, by means of an actuator (2) and which opens a first through channel (10), between the inlet line (7) and the pressure chamber (6). The piston element (3, 4) has a slide element (3c), mounted directly on the piston seat (10). The stroke length (h2) of the slide element (3c), for opening the first through channe, is, thus, greater than, or equal to the stroke length (h1), for closing a second through channel (5), between the pressure chamber (6) and the oil overflow line (8).
