Abstract (en)
The machine comprises a frame (1), a mandrel for supporting the tire (2) and rotating it around its axis (8). There is a cylindrical cutting tool (19,20) and means (3,4) for orientating the tool in various directions relative to the tire. There are means for reversing the tire rotation so that the tool can work in two symmetrical positions relative to the tire, the first for cutting it and the second for deburring.

Machine d'usinage et d'ébavurage de bandes de roulement de pneumatiques avec un bâti (1), un mandrin pour supporter le pneumatique (2) et l'entraîner en rotation autour de son axe (8), un outil de coupe (19,20) cylindrique et des moyens (3,4) pour orienter l'outil dans diverses directions par rapport au pneumatique, comportant des moyens permettant d'inverser la rotation dudit pneumatique et telle que l'outil peut travailler dans deux positions sensiblement symétriques par rapport au pneumatique, une première position pour la coupe proprement dite, et une seconde position pour l'ébavurage, chacune desdites positions correspondant à un sens de rotation du pneumatique opposé. <IMAGE>
