In a paper-making process an additive is introduced to a suspension of pre-prepared cellulose fibres by a process (28) of chemical precipitation driven by the introduction of carbon dioxide of ( 99% pref. ( 85% purity. The carbon dioxide is introduced from a tank in which it is stored in liquid form. The gas is released and heated to between 10 and 90 degrees C prior to discharge to the fibres. The gas is the by-product of e.g. power station combustion, the incineration of chalk or fossil fuel and is filtered and washed prior to use using an aqueous fluid containing mono-ethanolamine and/or soda ash and/or copper carbonate. The bound carbon dioxide is subsequently precipitated and chilled.

Bei einem Verfahren zum Beladen von in einer Faserstoffsuspension enthaltenen Fasern mit einem Hilfsstoff durch eine chemische Fällungsreaktion, die durch Zusetzen von Kohlendioxid ausgelöst wird, wird das Kohlendioxid mit einem Reinheitsgrad von <= 99 %, vorzugsweise von <= 85 %, erzeugt und dieses Kohlendioxid der Faserstoffsuspension zugesetzt. <IMAGE>
