[origin: US2002155750A1] An electrical terminal adapted for connection with a conductor, comprising a hollow electrically conductive terminal containing a chamber receiving a U-shaped spring, and an opening for receiving a conductor that is biased by one leg of the spring into engagement with a given wall of the terminal chamber, the spring one leg having an operating tab portion that extends through a slot contained in the given terminal wall. A plurality of the terminals may be provided in an outer housing that is formed of an electrically insulating synthetic plastic material.

Eine Federklemme (1) zum Anschluß eines Leiters (3), mit einem Gehäuse (5) mit einer offenen Stirnseite (9) zum Einführen des Leiters, einer im Gehäuse (5) angeordneten Feder (7) zur Kontaktierung des Leiters (3) und zum Festklemmen des Leiters (3) im Gehäuse (5), die mindestens einen Ansatzschenkel (7d) aufweist, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass das Gehäuse (5) wenigstens einen Schlitz (21) aufweist, welchen der wenigstens eine Ansatzschenkel (7d) durchsetzt, wobei sowohl das Gehäuse (3) als auch die Feder (7) einstückig und/oder als Stanzbiegeteile ausgebildet sind. Aus diesen Federklemmen ist eine Federklemmenreihung herstellbar, bei welcher über mehrere der Federklemmen (1) ein applikationsspezifisches Isolierstoffübergehäuse (27) gesetzt wird. <IMAGE>
