[origin: WO0156420A1] The invention concerns an impact-cushioning localised support element directly or indirectly in contact with the ground comprising a head (1) having internally and axially a blind perforation (4) defining a bore forming a skirt (6) wherein is inserted a piston (5) forming a body for being fixed with the base having interposed between them means locking rotation and limiting sliding stroke. The invention is characterised in that an impact-cushioning block (15) is urged by its front surface to be pressed frontward against an outer flange (3) of the head (1) and rearwards on the shoe peripherally to the body forming a piston (5) such that said sliding head (1) is compressed on said impact-cushioning block (15) for support in use. The invention is useful for making studs for boots, in particular football boots and for supporting boots equipped with in-line rollers and for basketball or running footwear.
