Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0235961A1] The invention relates to a hair clip (1) for holding a lock (3) of scalp hair wound around a curler (2), whereby the hair clip (1) has two limbs (4, 5) that are joined to one another by means of a hinge (6) provided with a spring (7). The limbs (4, 5) comprise a number of curved clip teeth (8, 9), which are arranged in a row and which each have a tooth base (10, 11). An opposite actuating limb section (12, 13) is joined to each tooth base (10, 11), whereby both actuating limb sections (12, 13) are asymmetrically arranged with regard to the length of the tooth base (10, 11) (figure 1). For the purpose of providing a greater holding density and an easier handleability of the hair clip (1), hair clips (1) with asymmetrically arranged actuating limb sections (12, 13) are used, whereby the hair clips (1) are placed onto the curlers (2) as specified by the method so that the actuating limb sections (12, 13) of a hair clip (1) do not directly abut against the actuating limb sections (12, 13) of an adjacent hair clip (1).
