Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0157209A2] The invention concerns a novel family of human proteins (hATIP) interacting with the angiotensin II receptor and having an antioncogenic function. Said family of proteins is therefore useful for diagnosing cancer and pre-cancer conditions and for treating cancer conditions. The invention also concerns the gene coding for said proteins, fragments of said gene and the uses thereof for detecting and expressing said proteins. The invention further concerns antibodies directed against said proteins and methods for detecting and/or screening pre-cancer or cancer condition using said proteins, said antibodies and/or various nucleic acid sequences.
