Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0159742A1] The invention relates to a three-dimensional head model (1) used as a teaching aid for hairdressers and comprising a multitude of elements (3) for representing individual hairs. Said elements (3) can be detachably joined to the head model (1). The aim of the invention is to design such a head model (1) which enables a demonstrative and reproducible training of potential hairdressers, and which can be handled and produced as easily as possible. To these ends, the elements (3) are made of a plastically deformable material. The plastic deformability enables both the representation of the desired hairstyle in a desired position as well as the projection of the cut pattern in any direction. The invention also relates to the development of a method that is as economical as possible for producing such a head model (1).
