Single- or multi-seat furniture, preferably upholstered furniture, having a pull-out carriage (3) or drawer below the seat upholstery (2) comprises at least one support (5) having on one end a hinge mounting (6) for pivotably positioning the carriage or drawer and on the other end a bearing surface (9) hinged to the support by a further hinge (8) so that the bearing surface pivots into a horizontal position of use when the support is stood upright. Preferred Features: The support is locked in the upright position by a locking device cooperating with a stop. The width of the carriage or drawer is shorter than the width of the seat upholstery.

Bei einem ein- oder mehrsitzigen Möbel (1), vorzugsweise einem Polstermöbel, ist unterhalb des Sitzpolsters (2) ein vorziehbarer Wagen (3) oder ein Auszug angeordnet. Mindestens einc hochstellbare Stütze (5) ist mit ihrem einen Ende am Wagen (3) oder am Auszug mittels eines Schamierbeschlages (6) schwenkbar gelagert, und am entgegengesetzten Ende ist mittels eines weiteren Scharniers (8) eine Ablagefläche (9) angelenkt, die bei hochgestellter Stütze (5) in eine annähernd waagrechte Benutzerstellung schwenkbar ist. <IMAGE>
