Abstract (en)
Cutting device (17) for separating plastic profiles (1) comprises a clamping device (2) for holding the profiles and a cutting element (3) for separating the profiles. The clamping device has a pre-tensioning device (4), especially in the form of a bending device (7), for producing tension in the plastic profile in the region of the cut (5). The cutting element is a cutting knife (6) which does not remove any material. An Independent claim is also included for a process for separating plastic profiles comprising the above cutting device. Preferred Features: The bending device consists of a cutting table (8), a holding-down device (9) arranged in the region of the cutting knife, and a setup block (10), preferably in the form of a clamping wedge (11), arranged at the side of the cutting knife.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schneidvorrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Trennen von Kunststoffprofilen (1), wobei eine Spannvorrichtung (2) zum Halten und ein Schnittelement zum Trennen des Kunststoffprofiles (1) vorgesehen ist. Die Spannvorrichtung (2) umfaßt eine Vorspanneinrichtung (4), mittels derer eine Zugspannung im Kunststoffprofil (1) im Bereich des auszuführenden Schnittes (5) erzeugt wird. Das Schnittelement (3) ist ein spanlos schneidendes Schneidmesser (6), mit dem im Bereich der Zugspannung der Schnitt (5) ausgeführt wird. <IMAGE>
