[origin: US6702276B2] An apparatus for reducing a stack 1 of flat, flexible articles, in particular printed products, having bearing elements 3 which are moved along a continuous circulatory path U and, in a first sub-section A1 of the circulatory path U, U1, U2, form a stack rest 7. The apparatus has at least one separating element 5 which is capable of raising off a region 4a of the lowermost article 4 located in the stack 1 such that at least one of the bearing elements 3 can move in between the lowermost article 4 and the rest of the stack 1 and can separate off the lowermost article 4 from the rest of the stack 1 as it moves further. The apparatus further comprises a belt conveyor 8 which is arranged beneath the stack rest 7 and on which the articles come to rest once they have been separated off. The bearing elements 3 can be pivoted or displaced such that it is possible to change their position relative to the circulatory path U, U1, U2, to thereby allow the belt conveyor to extend forwardly without interference with the bearing elements.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Abbau eines Stapels (1) flacher, biegsamer Gegenstände, insbesondere Druckereiprodukte, mit entlang einer geschlossenen Umlaufbahn (U) bewegten Auflageelementen (3), die in einem ersten Teilabschnitt (A1) der Umlaufbahn (U,U1,U2) eine Stapelauflage(7) bilden. Die Vorrichtung weist wenigstens ein Trennorgan (5) auf, das einen Bereich (4a) des zuunterst im Stapel (1) liegenden Gegenstands (4) derart vom Stapel (1) abzuheben imstande ist, dass wenigstens eines der Auflageelemente (3) zwischen den zuunterst liegenden Gegenstand (4) und den restlichen Stapel (1) einfahren und bei der weiteren Bewegung den zuunterst liegenden Gegenstand (4) vom restlichen Stapel (1) abtrennen kann. Die Vorrichtung umfasst des weiteren einen einem unterhalb der Stapelauflage (7) angeordneten Bandförderer (8), auf den die Gegenstände nach dem Abtrennen zu liegen kommen. Erfindungsgemäss sind die Auflageelemente (3) derart verschwenkbar oder verschiebbar, dass ihre Lage relativ zur Umlaufbahn (U,U1,U2) veränderlich ist. <IMAGE>
