Abstract (en)
The invention concerns a glazed firewall comprising at least a leaf (2, 4) and a frame (6), a front side and a rear side wherein the elements forming the openings (2, 4) and the frame (6) are made of solid wood, their outer surfaces extending in a plane, either that of the front side, or that of the rear side when the openings (2, 4) are closed; the frame (6) is provided with a peripheral raised rabbet (20) and the openings with a raised rabbet (22) with dimensions matching those of the raised rabbet (20) such that a Z-shaped interstice (24) separates each opening (2, 4) from the corresponding trim (6); a continuous heat-swellable joint is embedded in one of the surfaces of the interstice (24) along each of the branches of the Z, proximate to the central bar of the Z.

Une cloison coupe-feu vitrée comprenant au moins un battant (2, 4) et un dormant (6), une face avant et une face arrière dans laquelle les éléments formant les ouvrants (2, 4) et le dormant (6) sont réalisés en bois massif, leur face extérieure s'étendant dans un plan, soit celui de la face avant, soit celui de la face arrière lorsque les ouvrants (2, 4) sont fermés; le dormant (6) est muni d'une battée de frappe périphérique (20) et les ouvrants d'une feuillure de frappe (22) de dimensions complémentaires à celles de la battée frappe (20), de sorte qu'un interstice (24) en Z sépare chaque ouvrant (2, 4) de la partie du chambranle (6) correspondante; un joint foisonnant (18) continu est encastré dans une des faces de l'interstice (24) le long de chacune des branches du Z, près de la barre centrale du Z. <IMAGE>
