Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1255082A2] The unit has a turn and press switch (3) mounted near a front screen wall (5) of the cooker with a telescopic rod with at least two elongated telescopic bodies (1,2) for transferring the switch movements to a gas switch (4). The telescopic bodies can be rotated with respect to each other in a region of a defined rotation angle from a mutually locked state in the axial direction to an axially released state. The starting or end stop is adjustable to extend the range of rotation of the turn and press switch by the range of the rotation angle.
