[origin: WO0157404A3] A piece of furniture (10) has two upright, glass side walls (11, 12) which are set apart from each other, a compartment base (22) and supports (25) for holding the compartment base (22). This ensures that the compartment bases of a piece of furniture of this type can be adjusted despite its being made essentially entirely from glass.
