[origin: WO02058938A1] The invention relates to a self-inking stamp comprising a stamp housing (1) for receiving a stamp insert (2) having a printing element (3), which can be displaced in the housing by means of a turning mechanism (5) from a position in which the printing element rests on an ink pad (4) arranged in the housing to the printing position. Said stamp insert can be actuated by means of an actuating element (6) which projects above the housing and is coupled to the stamp insert. When the stamp is in a locked position, said actuating element can catch with the stamp housing by means of catch elements (7"). Said catch elements are formed on the free ends of an adapted clip (7) which can snap onto the actuating element, and which also forms an upper window (S) of the actuating element. The catch elements thereof can be engaged with housing catches (1") by means of openings (6") in the lateral walls (6') of the actuating element.
