[origin: WO0161149A1] A description is given of a device for and a method of separating gas and liquid, which device is preferably located downhole in a well that produces from a gas reservoir. The device comprises at least two gas separator units (2, 3), possibly a gas/liquid separator unit (1) and a common liquid sump (5) for the separated liquid from each of the separator units (1-3). The separated liquid may either be transported out of the well or be injected into a suitable area of the well.
