Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1256395A2] The shaft fitting device (1) has co-axial clamping units (3, 4) for the metal tube (2). One of these (3) is fixed to the base frame (GG) and linked by longitudinal guides (9) to a an end plate (10). The other clamping unit (4) moves on these guides. The holding tools can be displaced radially. The clamping units are moved relative to each other by a feed cylinder.
