[origin: DE10114906A1] The multi-sided box spanner insert has an internal multi-sided accommodation for fitting on an object with an external multi-sided formation. At least one rubber O-ring (50) is fitted inn the wall (60) of the internal accommodtaaion (30), locating in an all-round groove. Instead of the rubber O-ring, neo or more elastic balls can be fitted in recesses in the wall of the internal multi-sided accommodation. These recesses are formed in the angles constituted by the side walls of the accommodation.
