[origin: WO0159352A2] The invention relates to a pipe clip (10) for connecting a first pipe (11) having an opening (18) with a second pipe, especially it relates to a pipe clip for a sprinkler pipe. The inventive pipe clip comprises a connection piece (12) that can be aligned with the opening and a housing part (14) that can be connected to the second pipe. Said housing part comprises a sealing element (22) that encloses the opening, disposed in a peripheral recess (20), and seals the housing part with regard to the first pipe, and a bow-shaped lower part (36) that especially consists of a round profile material and that encloses the first pipe extending from the housing part. Said lower part can be braced with the housing part via at least one connecting element like a nut (38, 40) that is supported by the housing or a flange-like section (26, 28) and that partially rests on the first pipe. The aim of the invention is to improve such a clip by reducing its weight and simultaneously increasing its sealing efficiency. To this end, the bow-shaped lower part rests on the first pipe across an arc of at least pi /4.
