[origin: WO0159365A1] The invention relates to a lighting unit, comprising a lamp (1), at least one concave dished reflector (3), arranged either behind the lamp (1), or laterally thereto, when viewed from the direction of light emission. Coloured filters (5) are arranged laterally to the lamp (1), in such a way that laterally emitted light from the lamp (1), impinging on the at least one concave reflector (3), has the colour composition thereof changed. The light emitted in the direction of light emission, for the purposes of illumination, is not altered in colour composition.
