[origin: WO0159763A1] An arrangement, comprising an electrically operated device, a voice input unit (19) and a voice processing unit (21), which derives control signals from spoken input commands, for the control of the function of the equipment (1, 13), is known. The aim of the invention is to improve the voice recognition, whereby an operating status recognition unit (23) is provided, which recognises the operating status (BS1, BS2, ...) of the household equipment (1, 13, 35) or other noise sources (13, 35) and reports to the voice processing unit (21). The voice processing unit (21) only uses an interfering noise correction when a noise source is switched on.
