A low friction wall faces the textile and includes detachable slides in holders. <??>The slides have plane or curved, low-friction surfaces. They are essentially rectangular or square. Arranged in a row they extend in the running direction of the textile through the storage unit (10). They are in groups, such that slides of one group run transversely with respect to the conveying direction. At least locally they have gaps between adjacent slides. The slides are dished and locked against each other. The slides are held on carriers, held in turn on holders. The carriers have a frame with fasteners to the holders. The slides are each fitted to a frame and connected to it. The frames are held detachably by the holders. The frame is made of wire which joins into and is bonded with the dished slides. Fastening are located on two opposite sides of the frames and include locking bars at one end engaging hasps on the other end of the next frame. The storage unit is approximately drum-shaped, with the low friction wall formed on at least one region of its casing or base. Radial side- and/or intermediate walls are similarly low in friction.

Eine Vorrichtung zur Behandlung von strangförmigem Textilgut (3) weist einen Behandlungsbehälter (1), Transportmittel (4,5) zum Transport des Textilguts (3) durch den Behandlungsbehälter (1) und einen Warenspeicher (10) für den von den Transportmitteln (4,5) geförderten Textilgutstrang (3) auf. Der Warenspeicher (10) ist in dem Behälter (1) angeordnet und mit wenigstens einer reibungsarmen Wand (29) versehen, die im Betrieb mit zumindest einer Oberfläche mit dem durchlaufenden Textilgutstrang (3) in Berührung steht. Die reibungsarme Wand (29) enthält auf ihrer dem Textilgut (3) zugewandten Seite flächige Gleitelemente (30) mit einer reibungsarmen Oberfläche - oder ist aus solchen Gleitelementen (30) gebildet - wobei die Gleitelemente (30) an zugeordneten Haltemitteln (48) lösbar gehaltert sind. <IMAGE>
