[origin: WO02057079A1] The invention relates to a scraping device for cleaning a rotating cylinder (1) comprising a scraper (2) which is arranged on the cylinder (1). The scraper (2) is held by a scraper-holder (3) which presses against the cylinder (1) with the aid of application force. A plurality of extensometer strip sensors (4) are arranged on the scraper (2), wherein the application force of the scraper (2) is measured. The extensometer strip sensors (4) enable measurement of the application pressure on the scraper (2) even during the normal cleaning cycle.
