[origin: DE10007436A1] The one-piece blank for a collapsible packing unit has a rectangular bottom(1) to which are connected sections(12a,12b) bounded by parallel running fold line pairs(4a,4b,4c,4d), a third inner side flap(5) connected to a long side of the bottom by a section(12c) bounded a parallel running fold line pair(4e,4f), and a first outer side flap(6) connected to the long side of the bottom by a section(12d) bounded by another fold line pair(4g,4h). The fold line pairs have the same spacing determining the internal height of the packing unit. An independent claim is included for a packing unit used as a protection against moisture.
