Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0125868A1] The invention relates to a device for the electromotive regulation of an actuating device of a motor vehicle, comprising an electromotive regulation device for at least one actuating organ (2), in addition to a control unit (11), electrically connected to said organ. Said control unit (11) is in turn connected to electric switching elements (15, 16). At least one actuation detecting means (19, 20, 21) which is/are electrically connected to the control unit (11) is/are provided for monitoring an actuation of the actuating organ (2) in such a way that if a safety-critical state arises, an electric signal can be emitted from the control unit (11) which locks the electromotive regulation, or the power supply to the electromotive regulation device can be interrupted. The invention prevents an electromotive regulation from being effected at an inopportune moment, that is during safety-critical states, for example, during a current brake actuation or whilst the vehicle is in motion.
