Replaceable head toothbrush comprising a reusable handle and a replaceable head, which head comprises a bristle-bearing portion and a first abutting surface, and wherein said reusable handle comprises a second abutting surface which abuts upon said first surface when the replaceable head is fixed to the reusable handle, characterised in that at least one of the abutting surfaces comprises an elastomeric material.
