Abstract (en)
The blade drum, for chopping wood into chips, has a number of cutting units distributed around the drum circumference. Each cutting unit has a chopping blade (2), with a cutting edge (2.1) extending beyond the mantle surface (1.1) of the drum body (1). A clamp body (4) has a laying surface directly or indirectly against the blade. The blade is locked in place by centrifugal forces, as the drum rotates. A tie pull (5) works with the clamp body, to withdraw it from the clamping position, with a grip against the drum body and the clamp body to transmit the pulling action to the clamp body. The tie pull is a piston/cylinder system with a cylinder (5.1) and a piston (5.2), to act on a draw rod (5.4) attached to the clamp body. A positioner (7) keeps the blade in the required radial position.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Messertrommel für eine Hackmaschine; mit einer Mehrzahl von Messereinheiten I - V, die über den Trommelumfang verteilt in den Trommelkörper eingelassen sind; jeder Messereinheit I - V weist ein Hackmesser auf, das mit seiner Schneide über die Mantelfläche des Trommelkörpers hinausragt, ferner einen Klemmkörper, der mit einer Anlagefläche mittelbar oder unmittelbar am Hackmesser anliegt und das Hackmesser beim Umlauf der Trommel durch Fliehkraft festhält; es ist eine Zugeinheit vorgesehen, die mit dem Klemmkörper zusammenarbeitet, um diesen aus seiner Klemmposition zu lösen, und die einerseits am Klemmkörper und andererseits am Trommelkörper angreift, um beim Lösen eine Zugkraft auf den Klemmkörper zu übertragen.
