Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1260420A1] The rail contact (4) for an axle counter is fixed to the neck of the rail via two bolting flanges (5,6). The counter electronics (7,8) are connected to the bolt flanges by wires which can be at last partially cast into the flanges. The wires can alternatively be connected to the flanges by lock plates or by the bolt heads, or through eyes.
