Abstract (en)

[origin: JP2002349213A] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a tappet of such a type that an outer side part 8 and an inner part 7 are relatively slidable in the tappet operation direction and that a bottom part 2 of the outer part can be loaded by two outer cams and that a bottom part 3 of the inner part can be loaded by an inner cam arranged between the two outer cams and that the bottom part 3 of the inner part provided with a circular contour shape includes a flat parts 4 faced to an opposite side each other for releasing the outer cam at an outer circumference part thereof and that an arc section is formed on an outer circumference part of the bottom part 3 of the inner part between the flat parts 4, for simplifying manufacturing thereof. SOLUTION: An inside wall part 14 of the bottom part 2 of the outer part 8 forms a circular notch 15 crossing a cam contact line of the outer cam. The bottom part 3 of the inner part 7 is arranged in the notch 15. The arc section 13 provided on the outer circumference part side of the bottom part 3 of the inner part 7 is arranged in a position coaxial to the inside wall part 14 with maintaining small space in the radius direction to the inside wall part 14.
