[origin: DE10123994A1] The device has an electrically controlled valve that controls the connection of the pump's working chamber to a relief chamber and a second valve that controls the connection of a fuel injection valve control pressure chamber and the pump's working chamber. The valves are controlled by a common actuator that controls pressure in an actuator pressure chamber. Both control valves have a valve element subjected to actuator pressure chamber pressure. The device has a fuel pump (10) per engine cylinder forming a unit with a fuel injection valve (12). An electrically controlled valve (60) controls the connection of the pump's working chamber to a relief chamber and a second valve (70) controls the connection of a control pressure chamber in the fuel injection valve and the pump's working chamber. The valves are controlled by a common actuator (64) that controls the pressure in an actuator pressure chamber. Both control valves have a valve element subjected to the pressure in the actuator pressure chamber.

Abstract (de)

Die Kraftstoffeinspritzeinrichtung weist eine Kraftstoffpumpe (10) für jeden Zylinder der Brennkraftmaschine auf, die einen durch die Brennkraftmaschine in einer Hubbewegung angetriebenen Pumpenkolben (18) aufweist, der einen Pumpenarbeitsraum (22) begrenzt, welcher mit einem mit der Kraftstoffpumpe (10) eine Baueinheit bildenden Kraftstoffeinspritzventil (12) verbunden ist, das ein Einspritzventilglied (28) aufweist, durch das wenigstens eine Einspritzöffnung (32) gesteuert wird und das durch den im Pumpenarbeitsraum (22) erzeugten Druck gegen eine Schließkraft in Öffnungsrichtung (29) bewegbar ist, wobei ein erstes elektrisch angesteuertes Steuerventil (60) vorgesehen ist, durch das eine Verbindung der Leitung (14) mit einem Entlastungsraum (24) gesteuert wird. Ein zweites elektrisch angesteuertes Steuerventil (64) ist vorgesehen, durch das eine Verbindung eines Steuerdruckraums (52) des Kraftstoffeinspritzventils (12) mit dem Pumpenarbeitsraum (22) gesteuert wird, durch den das Einspritzventilglied (28) zumindest mittelbar in Schließrichtung beaufschlagt ist. Beide Steuerventile (60,70) werden durch einen gemeinsamen Aktor (64) gesteuert, der den in einem Aktordruckraum (66) herrschenden Druck steuert, durch den jeweils ein Ventilglied (61,71) der Steuerventile (60,70) beaufschlagt ist. <IMAGE>
